Living Room Coffee House to feature Edward Thomas on Saturday, Jun. 18

From the Living Room Coffee House (https://thelivingroomcoffeehouse.wordpress.com/):

Growing up on a small farm in Lunenburg MA, Ed started playing guitar at 10 (in between shoveling stuff). He played in bands thru his college days, then honed his musical skills playing biker bars for decades in the 90’s. Though always writing original material he did not start recording “Not My Job” CD till 2005ish. Ed acknowledges all of the help and support from his many friends on the local folk scene; “Thanks Homies!” Ed..

Ed has a pleasant, gentle, in your face talent of telling you what’s up. The lyrics he chooses are straight ahead and so is his performance. The Living Room is is thankful for the opportunity to close our 8th season with this talented singer song writer.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and all are welcome to sit, relax, meet and mingle. Performers (music, poetry, spoken word) are encouraged to sign up for one of the 15-minute slots. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Performances start at 7:00.

It is our goal to create a wholesome relaxing atmosphere for people to gather, listen and perform music, poetry and the spoken word. Our stage is set for you to perform in front of a supportive audience. A $5 donation is suggested (students may bring 2 cans of food as their donation, to help support the local St. Vincent De Paul food pantry).

Coffee, tea, water, soda, and juices are available, as well as popcorn and a variety of yummy baked goods from our kitchen. As always, there is no charge for snacks.
