Library now collecting winter clothing items for local families in need

The Souhegan Lions & Greenville Lioness Clubs are holding their annual winter clothing drive.

Mason Public Library is a dropoff location. During the library’s open hours, you may bring blankets, gloves, boots, coats, snow pats, socks, sweaters, and scarves and put them in the collection box.

Additional dropoff locations include:

  • Greenville: Sacred Heart Church, Post Office
  • New Ipswich: Village Mobil, Hoppy’s
  • Temple: Library

The clothing drive runs through Nov. 17. All items collected will be distributed to area families and children in need. Last year, over 3000 items helped area residents stay warm during the cold months.

If you know someone in need, you can get more information by calling Brenda Salmonson at 924-2288 or
Claudette Parmenter at 291-0284.

The Souhegan Lions & Greenville Lioness Clubs serve the towns of Temple, Mason, Greenville, and New Ipswich.
