Living Room Coffee House to kick off 10th season with Decatur Creek on Saturday

Stephen and Mike of Mason’s Living Room Coffee House announced that on Saturday, September 16, at 7 p.m., Decatur Creek kicks off the 10th season of live music:

Decatur Creek is an acoustic trio based in Antrim NH. In the band are Doug Farrell, Steve Dionne, and Jack Carlton, all of whom write original songs and have played as soloists. Their unique sound combines Folk, Americana and ballad. This is from their Facebook page. Listen at:

We have enjoyed listening to this trio grow. They performed in Mason at the Summer Music on the Green. They wowed folks that night. It can be said that Steve, Jack, and Doug’s Friendship is reflected in their performances. The sum of all the parts light up and energize the tapestry of music they perform for the audience. They are quite comfortable sharing the stage together and their friendship and camaraderie spill out onto the audience with wit and warmth. Everyone will enjoy this performance.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and all are welcome to sit, relax, meet and mingle. Performers (music, poetry, spoken word) are encouraged to sign up for one of the 15-minute slots. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Performances start at 7:00.

The Living Room Coffee House is a wholesome relaxing atmosphere for people to gather, listen and perform music, poetry and the spoken word. The stage is set for you to perform in front of a supportive audience. A $5 donation is suggested. Students may bring 2 cans of food as their donation, to help support the local St. Vincent De Paul food pantry.

Coffee, tea, water, soda, and juices are available, as well as popcorn and a variety of yummy baked goods from our kitchen. There is no charge for snacks.
