Library now collecting winter clothing items for local families in need

The Souhegan Lions & Greenville Lioness Clubs are holding their annual winter clothing drive.

Mason Public Library is a dropoff location. During the library’s open hours, you may bring blankets, gloves, boots, coats, snow pants, socks, sweaters, and scarves and put them in the collection box. Hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Thursdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Mason Public Library is collecting items until Thursday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. All items collected will be distributed to area families and children in need. Last year, thousands of items helped area residents stay warm during the cold months. For more information, contact Mason Public Library at 878-3867 or library@masonnh.us.

Additional dropoff locations include:

  • Greenville: Sacred Heart Church, Post Office
  • New Ipswich: Village Mobil, Hoppy’s
  • Temple: Library

The Souhegan Lions & Greenville Lioness Clubs serve the towns of Temple, Mason, Greenville, and New Ipswich.
