NO Community Supper this month as workers are busy with the 250th Celebration on August 25.

Back by popular demand! Summer menu will be served on Thursday, July 12, from 5:30 until 7:00 in Fellowship Hall at Mason Congregational Church.

  • Three salads ~ Shrimp, Chicken and Broccoli
  • Blueberry/Orange Bread
  • Watermelon, Cake, Cookies
  • Lemonade and Water

The meal is free, but donations allow this community based event to continue. Leftover food is sent to the food bank in Greenville, along with donated dry and canned goods. Many families, including in Mason, are finding it difficult to feed children, as school breakfasts and lunches are not available in summer.

NO August Community Supper as all workers are involved with Mason’s 250th Celebration on Saturday, August 25.

Community Supper on Thursday, June 14, will be cooked and served by Mason’s Volunteer Fire Department!

Enjoy burgers and hot dogs grilled by firefighters and EMTs from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Fresh salad, watermelon and dessert round out the menu to be served in Friendship Hall at the Congregational Church in the center of town. Meet the folks who are ever ready to come to your rescue for fires, medical and other emergencies! Also, connect with people who just moved to town, old friends or make new friends.

The meal continues to be free, but donations allow the suppers to continue. Leftover food goes to St. Vincent D’Paul Food Pantry in Greenville, which is available to Mason residents. Dry goods and canned goods may be dropped off at the church for pick up that night.

All Mason residents are invited to enjoy a home cooked meal on Thursday, May 10, from 5:30 until 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall, Mason Church, in center of town. The meal is free, but donations allow it to continue for year #7.

  • Rice, Peas and Carrots
  • Cole Slaw
  • Rolls and Home Made Desserts
  • Beverages

Donations of dry or canned goods for the food bank in Greenville may be dropped off at the supper. Mason residents may access St. Vincent D’Paul Food Bank.

Community Supper on Thursday, April 12, from 5:30 to 7:00 at Mason’s Church

Mason folks are invited to select from a buffet of home cooked food, then dine with friends, meet new neighbors or enjoy solitude. Know someone living alone? A new family in town? Invite them!

  • Roast Pork, Gravy, Potatoes and Veggies, Rolls
  • Waldorf Salad, Ice Cream Sundaes, Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Vegetarian Alternative – Gluten and Lactose Free

The meal is free, but donations allow this event to continue! Donations of dry and canned goods go to St. Vincent d’Paul Food Pantry in Greenville, which is available to Mason families. Any left over supper food is donated there, also.

On Thursday, March 8, all Mason families are cordially invited to a home cooked meal from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Mason Congregational Church in the center of Town.

Menu:

  • Roast Pork

  • Waldorf (Apple) Salad
  • Gravy & Rolls
  • Deserts will be Make YOUR own ice cream sundaes
  • Cookies & fresh fruits
  • Hot & Cold Beverages

We do usually have a gluten free or alternate dish for those that require it.

The meal is free, but donations have kept the supper going for six years. Thank you to all for your continued support.

Community Supper is on Thursday, January 11, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Mason Congregational Church.

Delicious foods enjoyed since the 1700’s will be served:

  • Ham and Beans, Cole Slaw and Bread
  • Home Made Gingerbread and Apple Desserts

Turkey Tetrazzini  with Broccoli, Spinach Salad, Bread, Desserts

Donations of dry goods are desperately needed for the food bank in Greenville, which is available to Mason folks, too. All donations will be delivered after Thursday’s dinner. (Extra food from these suppers is distributed to the needy by the hard working ladies at St. Vincent de Paul.)

Community Supper continues to be free; donations allow this event to continue. Ten or fifteen minutes of help cleaning up is greatly appreciated at the end of the meal.
