Kindergarten & Grade 1 registration next week

Mason Elementary School principal Kristen Kivela announced that kindergarten and Grade 1 registration is next week. She also provided information about the preschool program. (To read Mrs. Kivela’s letter to families in full, go to: http://mason.sau89.org/)

“We will be having kindergarten and first grade registration during the week of April 16th.  If you have a child that isn’t already registered please come in between the hours of 7:30 am and 4 pm to register your child or call Miss Heidi to set up a time.  If you know of children in town that are eligible to start kindergarten next fall (turn 5 before September 30, 2018) or first grade (turn 6 before September 30, 2018)  please share this information with them.

At this point we have a waiting list for the preschool program.  If you are interested in adding your child’s name to the list please call Heidi at 878-2962.  The preschool program is for children that are 3 and 4.”

How to add occasions to the Mason Community Calendar

This is the 38th year the Mason Community Calendar will be published. For those unfamiliar with it, it is a school year calendar running from September through August. The monthly pages are an 8×10 size and make note of community members’ birthdays, anniversaries, and in memory recognition. Also listed are holidays and community meetings. Local businesses advertise on the calendar, making it truly community focused.

If you are interested in either adding or changing a listing on the calendar, please fill out the form: http://masonnh.us/wp-content/uploads/CommunityCalendarListing_2018.pdf

The deadline for you to submit this form will be April 1, 2018. You can contact Melissa Ziemecki (mziemi@hotmail.com) with any questions.
You can either email the information directly to Melissa or you can drop the completed form off at Mason Elementary School.
