Saturday, May 5: Storyteller Rebecca Rule
Rebecca Rule will be telling and gathering stories with a strong dose of good old-fashioned Yankee humor (humah) on Saturday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. in Mason Town Hall in the center of town. Refreshments will be served for this free program. Funding is provided through a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts for Mason’s 250th Celebration.
Rebecca loves to laugh and to get others laughing, too. The stories sometimes find their way into books (she’s published ten so far) including: Heading’ for the Rhubarb: A New Hampshire Dictionary (well, kinda); The Iciest, Diciest, Scariest Sled Ride Ever!; Live Free and Eat Pie!; and N is for New Hampshire, a children’s alphabet which combines lively verse with beautiful photographs.
