TOWN OF MASON PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE SUBDIVISION AND SITE PLAN REGULATIONS

Notice is hereby given in accordance with RSA 676:4 that the Mason Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at the Mann House located at 16 Darling Hill Road during a regular meeting to consider the following changes to the Mason Subdivision and Site Plan Regulations:

  1. Subdivision Regulations: Amend Appendix B, Section 3, Fees, to increase the Abutters/Notification Fee and Newspaper Notice Fee to reflect increases in these costs, as well as the addition of the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) fee.
  2. Subdivision Regulations: Amend Section 3.07.5 Planning Board Review of Accepted Submission, from a ninety day to a sixty five day period in which the Board must take action on a completed application.
  3. Site Plan Regulations: Amend Appendix A, Section 3, Fees, to increase the Abutters/Notification Fee and Newspaper Notice Fee to reflect increases in these costs, as well as the addition of the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) fee.
  4. Site Plan Regulations: Amend Section 7.N General Standards and Requirements, to update the Section numbers as to accurately reflect the referenced Section numbers in the Subdivision Regulations.

The Planning Board meets the last Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM.

Full copies of the proposed amendments listed above are available for public review at the Selectmen’s Office during regular business hours. You may submit comments in person or in writing. Anyone needing assistance in attending these hearings should contact the Selectmen’s Office one week prior to the meeting.
