On Labor Day, September 5th, the Town of Milford, N.H. will hold their annual Labor Day parade. This year’s theme is “Education”. The Milford VFW who organizes the parade and raises funds through contributions by the Town, local businesses, organizations and private donations is offering some additional entertainment and a service to the local communities. The parade begins at 1:00 PM at the Milford Area High School, continues to the Oval at the center of town and ends at the VFW Post 4368 located at 1 VFW Way, in Milford. At the completion of the parade, the VFW is sponsoring a College Fair for high school students and their parents to visit and learn about educational opportunities from various colleges, agencies, school councilors as well as ROTC and Military scholarship programs that are available. There will also be food and entertainment for younger children and family members. Admission is free for all events.
