- The intent and purpose of this society shall be to stimulate, strengthen, dignify, and increase interest in and concern for all aspects of the history of the Town of Mason, New Hampshire; to discover, secure, preserve and protect whatever, tangibly or intangibly, relates to the natural, civil, ecclesiastical, genealogical agricultural, industrial, sociological literary of artistic history of the Town of Mason, New Hampshire.
- This Society shall be dedicated to the enjoyment of historical research and interpretation, to the active participation of all its Members, to historical authenticity and historical information pertaining to this Town and its people and of assuming and maintaining its rightful place among other local, state and national historical societies.

Meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the Mason Historical Society Room located in the Mann House. The Mason Historical Society Room is usually open to the public on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 pm.
